Why does Aston Villa Foundation have a lottery?

The Aston Villa Foundation has a lottery to help raise funds to help improve lives of those in their community.

How does the lottery work?

When you register to play, you will receive a 6-digit sequence which is unique to you.

Every Friday a sequence of numbers will be drawn at random and if your numbers match, you will win a prize.

You can play for just £1 per week (maximum 20 entries).

How old must I be to enter?

You must be 18 or over to enter our lottery.

What are the prizes?

If your numbers match you will win:

  • First Prize – a 6-digit match £25,000
  • Second Prize – a 5-digit match £1,000
  • Third Prize – a 4-digit match £25
  • Fourth Prize – a 3-digit match wins 5 prize entries into the next draw

How much does Aston Villa Foundation make from each £1 played?

The Aston Villa Foundation receives 50p from every £1 played.

The other 50p covers prizes and lottery administration.

How will I know if I have won?

You will receive notification you have won by post or email– you do not need to claim your prize.

If you match 4 digits or more, you will be sent your winnings automatically, either directly into your bank (if playing by Direct Debit), or via a cheque sent in the post.

If you match 3 digits you will be sent an email to confirm your win and your temporary 5 prize entry lottery numbers for the following week's draw.
